Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Telecom & Infrastructure Engineer – Voice & Telco Systems. This role owns the end-to-end telecom and voice infrastructure that connects on‑premise telco providers (ISDN) to our cloud‑hosted PBX and AI systems. The engineer will be responsible for
designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and scaling voice connectivity, while acting as the technical
owner for telco vendors, especially across UAE and Saudi Arabia.

This role is about:

• Owning real ISDN (E1/T1) connectivity

• Managing physical gateways and hybrid routing

• Controlling carrier quality and signaling integrity

• Supporting both AI-driven and human dialing systems

Key Responsibilities

E1 / PRI Ownership

Own and manage ISDN PRI (E1/T1) lines end-to-end, including Q.931 signaling, channel allocation, DID/CLI mapping, clocking, framing, and line error troubleshooting (CRC, slips, alarms). Scale multi-E1 deployments across locations.

Gateway & PBX Engineering

Configure and maintain Yeastar PBX and ISDN/GSM gateways. Manage hybrid routing (E1 + GSM + SIP), outbound dialing logic, codec/DTMF handling, and trunk failover.

SIP, Media & Advanced Debugging

Debug SIP signaling, RTP/RTCP media flows, NAT traversal, one-way audio, and call setup failures using Wireshark, SIP traces, and gateway logs. Experience with OpenSIPS, Asterisk/FreeSWITCH, RTPengine, SBC concepts, SIPREC preferred.

Network & VPN for Voice

Manage Fortinet site-to-site VPNs and firewall rules for SIP/RTP traffic. Optimize IPSec performance, resolve NAT/asymmetric routing issues, and ensure low-latency media paths for high-concurrency dialing.

Carrier & Vendor Ownership (UAE & KSA Mandatory)

Directly manage telecom providers (DU, Etisalat, STC, Salam, Mobily, Zain). Lead provisioning, migrations, and escalations. Ensure routing quality, compliance (CLI/DID), and end-to-end service reliability without middlemen.

Requirements

• 5+ years in telecom / voice engineering

• Strong hands-on E1/PRI troubleshooting experience

• Deep SIP & RTP debugging knowledge

• Direct carrier interaction experience in UAE required

• Multi-site voice infrastructure scaling
