Senior Insights Analyst
About ClearGrid
ClearGrid is an AI-native debt resolution platform operating across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. We work with leading banks, fintechs, and NBFIs to improve collections performance through AI voice agents, workflow automation, data-driven portfolio management, and lender integrations.
We are building modern infrastructure for debt resolution in the region: faster, more scalable, and more borrower-conscious than traditional collections models.
Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Insights Analyst to join the Founder’s Office and support decision-making across portfolio performance, client economics, product performance, and operational strategy.
This role is not limited to standard reporting. You will work directly with the founders to investigate business-critical questions, structure analysis, identify performance issues, and turn data into clear recommendations. You will be trusted with the questions that don't have an owner yet: Is this experiment actually working? Where is our portfolio quietly underperforming? What should we be measuring that we're not? Why is this lender's engagement softening? Are we pricing this client correctly? You'll define the question as often as you answer it, then go find the data, run the analysis, and come back with a recommendation the founders can act on.
You will be expected to define the problem, pull the data, run the analysis, and present a clear view on what should happen next.
What You’ll Do
Analyze lender and portfolio performance across collections KPIs such as RPC, PTP, kept promise, recovery rate, liquidation, roll rates, broken promises, channel performance, and segment-level trends.
Identify underperformance, anomalies, and emerging risks across client portfolios, borrower cohorts, products, channels, and operational workflows.
Run analysis on experiments and business initiatives, including AI voice performance, channel mix, contact strategies, borrower segmentation, pricing changes, and operational process changes.
Build clear, decision-ready outputs for founders and senior stakeholders, including memos, slides, dashboards, and client-facing analysis.
Support QBRs and lender reviews by preparing performance narratives, identifying key trends, and recommending specific actions.
Partner with Analytics, Operations, Product, and Commercial teams to understand available data, validate assumptions, and translate findings into execution.
Pull and manipulate data independently using SQL, Google Sheets/Excel, and, where useful, Python or similar tools.
Move beyond reporting by explaining why performance is changing, what it means for the business, and what action should be taken.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
4–7 years of experience in analytics, strategy, consulting, financial services, fintech, credit, collections, or a founder’s-office / business operations role.
Strong analytical judgment, with the ability to break down ambiguous business problems into clear questions, hypotheses, and analysis plans.
Experience working with operational or financial performance data, ideally in lending, collections, banking, BNPL, fintech, payments, or a similarly data-heavy business.
Strong SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, and window functions.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivots, lookups, scenario analysis, and financial or operational modeling.
Strong PowerPoint / Google Slides skills, with the ability to turn analysis into a clear business narrative.
Solid understanding of statistical concepts such as A/B testing, sample size, significance, cohort analysis, and correlation versus causation.
High ownership and comfort working in a fast-moving environment where the problem is not always fully defined.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Strong Pluses
Experience in collections analytics, credit risk, portfolio management, or recovery strategy at a UAE/KSA bank, fintech, BNPL, or collections business.
Consulting experience in financial services, especially from MBB, Strategy&, Oliver Wyman, Big 4, or similar advisory environments.
Familiarity with collections and credit terminology such as DPD, PTP, RPC, roll rates, liquidation, bucket strategy, EPP, restructuring, AECB, and broken promises.
Comfort using Python or R for ad-hoc analysis.
Arabic language skills.
Experience supporting senior leadership, founders, or executive teams with decision-making analysis.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 3 months, you have developed a strong understanding of our lender portfolios, core collections metrics, and data sources. You are producing useful analysis with limited guidance and have surfaced at least one or two insights that influenced a business or client decision.
By month 6, you are regularly supporting founder-level decisions on portfolio performance, client strategy, experiment results, capacity planning, and pricing. Your work is being used in internal reviews, client discussions, and product or operations prioritization.
By month 12, you are a trusted analytical partner to the founders. You understand the business deeply, can quickly diagnose what is happening across portfolios, and are consistently shaping decisions with clear, quantified recommendations.
