Role Overview

Based in our Bangalore, India office, the Full Stack Engineer will bridge the gap between user experience and robust backend functionality. This role requires a versatile engineer with 3+ years of experience who loves moving fast, taking end-to-end ownership of features, and building intuitive user interfaces backed by resilient architectures.

The ideal candidate has a strong product mindset—someone who doesn't just build to spec but constantly thinks about how software impacts the end-user. You will be a crucial driver in expanding our product capabilities, bringing a balanced mix of front-end finesse and backend stability to the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight & Architecture

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, intuitive front-end user experiences alongside high-performance microservices.

• Component Design: Architect modular, reusable UI components and scalable backend endpoints that ensure smooth data synchronization and minimal latency.

• Database Integration: Design and optimize database schemas and queries across relational and NoSQL databases to support new application features.

Execution & Strategy

• Feature Delivery: Drive features from conception to deployment, balancing short-term delivery with long-term code maintainability.

• Security & Clean Code: Implement secure coding practices on both the client and server sides, ensuring secure authentication and data protection.

• DevOps Contribution: Build and manage automated deployment steps, containerization, and monitoring for full-stack features.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Work hand-in-hand with backend engineers, data scientists, and UI/UX designers to deliver seamless, cohesive user journeys.

• Code Quality: Participate actively in code reviews, sharing knowledge, establishing best practices, and ensuring code quality remains exceptionally high.

Executive Reporting

• Status Visibility: Keep engineering leads and product stakeholders informed on technical trade-offs, sprint progress, and potential timeline dependencies.

Requirements

Experience

• Years of Experience: 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Industry Context: Experience working within startups, fintech platforms, or fast-growing SaaS companies is highly valued.

• Geographic Location: Ability to work full-time out of our Bangalore, India office.

Technical Skills

• Front-End Stack: Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React.js (or Vue.js/Angular), HTML5, and CSS3.

• Backend Stack: Strong hands-on experience building services in Spring Boot or Python.

• Databases: Practical experience working with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases.

• APIs & Cloud: Strong experience designing and consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with basic exposure to AWS or GCP.

• DevOps Basics: Familiarity with Docker, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
